I created these mis-matched earrings from a selection of carved pieces I bought in an antique shop here in Whitby. These would have been component parts for larger pieces. Very few jewellers in Whitby still carve jet. I loved the skill and intricacy of the carving and wanted to create unique pieces that felt both modern and historical. They are incredibly comfortable and elevate most outfits.
Jet is incredibly light to wear and is thought to bring both good luck and clarity.
