Grey Mushroom

£310.00
sold out

A large cast glass sculptural mushroom. Cast from an original specimen foraged near Ashgill Force waterfall in Cumbria. The gills are particularly beautiful. Though large it will still fit in the palm of your hand. This mushroom will look quite at home on a shelf or pile of books.

I started foraging mushrooms avidly last autumn. The fruits of my labour are currently on display at the Armitt Museum alongside Beatrix Potter’s beautiful watercolours of fungi.

Unique

The finer details

Medium: Cast glass. The mushroom is cast from the original specimen using the ‘burnout’ technique, so every detail of the original is captured.

Made using 40% lead crystal.

Dimensions: H 7 cm x W 11cm x D 10 cm

Shipping: Postage is FREE to addresses in the UK.

Do message me if you require international shipping.
