Green House

£475.00

A pale emerald green glass house, made to be held. The polished surfaces create an optical effect and are beautifully smooth to touch.

The piece has an accompanying tree cast from a floret of Romanesco cabbage.

The finer details

Medium: Cast glass with polished gables and base, which allow the piece to capture the light beautifully. The original form was made in clay and I used the leaves of flowering sprouts (kalettes) as overlapping tiles on the exterior.

The tree is cast from a floret of romanesco cabbage using the ‘burnout’ technique, so every detail of the original is captured. The glass is 40% lead crystal, which has a lovely weight to it. The house is cast in ‘emerald green’ and the tree is ‘pale lime’.

Dimensions: House: H 8cm x W 6cm x D 5.5cm Tree: H 6cm x W 3cm x D 3cm

Shipping: Postage is FREE to addresses in the UK.

Do message me if you require international shipping.
