Cluster V1

£265.00

A group of miniature glass houses with their own tree, that can be perpetually re arranged. Each piece is unique and the pale blue house has engraved detail on it.

A childhood spent with dolls houses and farm sets still inspires my work today. If placed on a sunny windowsill the little houses act like prisms and cast rainbows.

The finer details

Medium: A series of tiny cast glass houses with polished details. The tall pale blue house has engraved stripes on it (lathe engraved using a diamond wheel). The tree is cast from a floret of Romanesco cabbage using the ‘burnout’ technique, so every detail of the original is captured.

The glass I’ve used is 40% lead crystal, which has a lovely weight to it. The houses are cast in ‘steel’, ‘pale steel’, ‘pale emerald’ and ‘fuchsia’. The tree is ‘pale lime’.

Handmade by me in my studio in Whitby.

Dimensions: For the whole piece once it is set out- H 5cm x W 11 cm x D 9cm

Shipping: Postage is FREE to addresses in the UK.

Do message me if you require international shipping.
